Calendario I.T.F. 2011

La Federación Internacional de Taekwon-Do (I.T.F.) presentó su calendario de competencias oficiales para el presente año, según lo informado por las NGBs hasta el 30 de Noviembre de 2010, fecha límite establecida por la I.T.F. en su Newsletter de Septiembre de 2010.-
Aún restan confirmarse varios eventos de carácter nacional e internacional, especialmente de las NGBs de América, que serán publicados en nuestro “Calendario” a medida que se confirmen.
Sin duda el evento más destacado del año será el 17º Campeonato Mundial de Taekwon-Do I.T.F. para adultos, a realizarse entre el 6 y 12 de Septiembre en DPR KOREA.
También se destaca como toda una novedad la incorporación de competencias infantiles en los eventos oficiales, tal cual es el caso de “26th Adult, 17th Junior, 3rd Veteran & 1st Children European Championship in ESTONIA“. Aún no conocemos los detalles de la participación de los competidores infantiles, ya que el Reglamento Oficial de Torneos de la I.T.F. no contempla las competencias de esta categoría, nos animamos a suponer que serán competencias sin contacto, en las que se evaluarán solamente las técnicas.
También se destaca la reprogramación de los “X Juegos Panamericanos” para el mes de Junio de 2011. Originalmente este evento se encontraba previsto para los días 9 al 16 de Febrero de 2011, abordo del lujoso crucero “Adventure of the Sea”.
